I have been super busy lately between book contracts and preparing for SPACE, the Small Press Comics Expo. (More about that next post). On the side, I just finished two paintings for a local art show at Neon’s celebrating the Red’s Opening Day put on by the Ghost Empire Collective.
Although I am not overly a sports fan, I am a mascot fan and these paintings fit very comfortably in the Pop Smoothie Prime Directive. (Yeah, that’s right, we actually have one…)

I have watched Downton Abbey since the first season… When I thought of this cartoon, I could not resist drawing it. The impetus was hearing about Pebbles’ 50th birthday…
After the ending of season 3, this scenario is plausible to say the least…
